this picture was in 2008, as we gathered, Nanay was like, “Ang Ganda nang Apo Ko!”
a picture about my grandparents
Today’s their 53rd anniversary <3
Oh their love gives me hope. Nanay is very loving and Tatay is a comedian. Sounds like the best combination right? Definitely a key to love.
I did their errands today! It was dope, I felt like a messenger, well I kind of was. I had to drop off a sympathy card to my cousin’s house in which I had no idea which house it was. I did a lap around the beach sidewalk and then I returned to HQ. They then assigned me grocery errands which was definitely another level of difficulty. Makes me want a chrome bag. I definitely didn’t have my car either, so this was all via my new bike =]
The best part was when I got home to play outside. It was getting late and Tatay was fixing, like he always is. He takes a look from the screen door and he notices me outside playing. And it took me back to when I was a kid, playing outside, on my bike, riding around the sidewalk, going around the block. Tatay even called out, ‘It’s getting dark!’ and if that doesn’t bring you back to your childhood, well I don’t know where yours is.
I praise God for my grandparents, I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. Plus, I would’ve never learned how to whistle!
